oh not an idiot at all, i didnt have a clue either before i found the world of fractals

UF is short of Ultra-Fractal, it a fractal program designed to make pictures (such as this) using fractal formulas

Believe me it sounds lot more complicated than it is. UF is not freeware but there are several that are, for example Apophysis and Tierazon

If you ever want to try making fractals i recommend starting with Tierazon (you can download it for free, just google Tierazon), you dont need to know anything about fractals to use it

And its a lot of fun, got me addicted

haha mine too, this is frequently running out of backup spaces and i have to restart, otherwise it gets soooo slow, damn... if you have memory sticks, you could just put it straight in there, thats what i do these days... But im warning you, Tierazon is highly addictive!
