Spring... ahh, spring. Yup... It's definitely spring here in north-central Texas. The daffodils have already bloomed and the blossoms are now gone. The redbud trees are blooming, green grass is growing. I've seen some grape hyacinth and wildflowers. But the best show of wildflowers won't happen until next month. Then the roadsides will be covered with them--indian paintbrush, bluebonnets, primroses (which people down here call buttercups - when there's nothing yellow about 'em! lol)--and they won't mow the roadsides until the annual bloom is done.
The temperature today got into the mid-sixties. Yesterday it was in the mid-seventies, so it was cool, but not cold. It was only supposed to get up to the mid-fifties, but more often than not the weather forecast is wrong because spring weather is so changeable here.
So yes, at least in the southern climes, it's spring.
Hugs,
Anj
